My wife and I have been reading “Goodnight Campsite” to our 2.5 year old grandson for several months now. Our grandson asks for this book most nights and he loves the drawings as well as the Family story line. We spend each Summer on a Lakeside campsite in Maine, and our grandson and daughter are excited to come up to camp ! Wonderful book !
I have a few ‘Good Night’ Books we love. The state series is super cute and we have one for States where family live or if we go out of town so the toddler knows where we’re going. I just didn’t like the camping book. It was tents, lakes but not my favorite overall m. It’s donated to a library now.
Loved this purchase! Super cute and I paired it with a toy camp fire as a gift. Short list of things the kid sees at a campsite but their friends and family don’t all look alike and I love that
Bought this for my 2.5 yr old daughter ahead of her first camping trip, and she absolutely loves it. Remains in her bedtime rotation weeks after the camping trip has passed.
- his is probably the 10th Maisy book I’ve bought my granddaughters and
they love everyone of them. The pictures in this book are great and we
like the part where they include all of Maisy’s friends. To me the paperback books are the best and easier for our 2 year old to handle.
THIS IS A GREAT BOOK TO INTRODUCE THE IDEA OF CAMPING TO CHILDREN AND IT IS NOT TOO LONG! THE CHILDREN ENJOYED FOLLOWING MAISY’S ADVENTURES AND THE PICTURES ARE GREAT ALSO.
The book was too basic and I’m wondering why it was on my Kindergartener’s reading list. I didn’t like the story and, more importantly, my son was easily bored by the book.
